Magical Intensive Weekend
Lots of Magical Knowledge and Practice in a Two day Workshop
Providence Oddfellow's Hall, Catonsville MD (corner of Ingleside Ave and Orban Ave)
April 5th and 6th, 10am - 6pm
$25 OTO Members, $35 Non-OTO members
Often it comes up that there is very little opportunity for the serious student in magic to receive real chances to advance their skill set and deepen their knowledge beyond basic levels.
Most books present basics rehashed over and over again, and most workshops and events do the same, or if a more in depth topic is presented it is often done so without workable context.
This event hopes to fix some of that.
At William Blake Lodge, in the Valley of Catonsville, Maryland we will be offering a Two Day Magical Intensive. The event will be Saturday April 5th and Sunday April 6th 2008 from 10am until 6pm each day. A simple lunch will be part of the event as well as part of the education.
The cost is $20 for Saturday Only, $25 for OTO members for Saturday and Sunday, and $35 for Non-OTO members for Saturday and Sunday.
The days will include classes, workshops, and hands on practicums. The goal is that anyone from a basic to an intermediate level of understanding can attend and have their understanding and practice deepened and improved. Topics to be covered include:Day One
Presentation 1: Magic, Power & Law
Presentation 2: Kabbalah in Theory & Practice
Lunch (with consecration of food)
Activity 1: Symbolism Meditation
Ritual 1: Practical Kabbalah
Presentation 3: Sigils

The instructor for this Intensive has been studying magic for about 15 years, he joined his first magical order at age 18, and is now a member of three orders, holding Adeptus status in two. In addition to ceremonial magic he has studied and/or received training in traditional witchcraft, British Traditional Wica, Neo-Pagan and Reconstructionist pagan magical and religious systems, Jewish and Hermetic Kabbalah, amongst others.
A basic knowledge of energy work, scrying, visualization, and meditation will be beneficial before taking this intensive. For recommended resources, or if you have questions, contact master@williamblakeoto.org, or ararita418@yahoo.com.
